A Vespers was held on Thursday afternoon at today’s celebrating St. Nilus Cathedral in the port city of Piraeus, the only Orthodox Church in the world dedicated to this saint.
The Metropolitan of Piraeus, His Eminence Seraphim officiated.

Further to the east, on the eastern Mediterranean island of Cyprus, a Great Festal Vespers was solemnly held on Thursday afternoon at the John the Merciful Cathedral in Limassol, on the occasion of today’s feast day for the saint, the patron and protector of the seaside city.

The Church of Cyprus’ Bishop of Neapolis, His Grace Porfirios, officiated, with the Metropolitan of Limassol, His Eminence Athanasios, co-officiating.
