US Special Envoy for western Balkans M. Palmer tours historic Visoki Dečani Monastery in Kosovo & Metohija
US Special Envoy for western Balkans, Matthew Palmer, earlier this week toured the historic Visoki Dečani Monastery in the Kosovo & Metohija province.
The US diplomat was received by the Bishop of Raška-Prizren, His Grace Teodosije, who briefed him on the standing problems and threats faced by the Serbian Orthodox Church in the strife-plagued province.
The Bishop cited a series of latest incidents as well as the refusal of Kosovo Albanian institutions to implement a decision by the Constitutional Court on the land of the monastery.
