The Synaxis of the All-Holy Theotokos Gorgoepikoou, was celebrated with splendorous ecclesiastical rite at the cathedral of the Prophet Elijah, in Thessaloniki’s Pilea district, in which the wonder-working icon dedicated to the Virgin Mary is preserved and venerated.
