Serbian Patriarch Porfirije visited Rakovica Monastery
His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch, visited the Rakovica Monastery where he venerated particles of the saint’s relics, on 3 May 2021, on the feast day of Saint Nikolaj, Bishop of Zica and Ohrid.
His Holiness was welcomed by Abbess Evgenija with the sisterhood. The Patriarch prayed to the sacred in monastery’s churches of Saint Michael the Archangel, Saint Nicholas of Myra and the Dormition of the Mother of God, and then he sang an Easter troparion at graves of his predecessors patriarchs Dimitrije and Pavle.
Visit to the monastery of Rakovica Serbian Patriarch Porfirije ended with a tour of the memorial room of Patriarch Pavle.
