The Patriarch of All Romania, His Beatitude Daniel, on Sunday celebrated and venerated the 152 Romanian Orthodox saints.
In a sermon, His Beatitude noted that “…152 Romanians who have been canonized by the Church of Romania over 70 years now pray for us, before God … the saints are celebrated and honored by people who felt the Grace of God… The Church does not bestow saintliness, but validates and declares the saintliness which God bestows, through the Church, and to the faithful.”
