Repose of Fr. Sarantis, long-time parish priest of Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos

Archimandrite Fr. Sarantis Sarantos, the parish Arch-priest of the Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos, in the northern Athens district of Maroussi, reposed in the Lord on Sunday evening.
The reposed cleric ministered to the faithful at the specific cathedral for 51 years, and was the spiritual father of numerous generations of Marousi residents. Fr. Sarantis also served as a lecturer at the Rizarion Ecclesiastical School of Athens.
