Athens-born Queen Sofía of Spain, accompanied by her sister, Princess Irene, arrived on the Dodecanese Island of Leros on Sunday afternoon.
The Spanish royals were accompanied by the Spanish consul in Greece and were welcomed by the mayor of Leros and other local officials.
The Queen of Spain was received at the airport by the Metropolitan of Leros – Kalymnos and Astypalea, His Eminence Paisios.
