The Patriarchal vicar in Bethlehem, blessed Archbishop Theophylaktos reposed in the Lord in the early morning hours of Friday.
His Eminence had been hospitalized for the past two months following surgeries.
A funeral service will take place at the Cathedral of Sts. Constantine and Helen on Saturday, followed by interment at the cemetery of the Basilica of Bethlehem.
