Patriarch of Serbia Porfirije calls on believers to follow path of prayer, fasting; message for beginning of Nativity Fast

The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, called on all forces in the country to avoid the conflict and tension that often arise in Serbia’s society, in a message on the occasion of the beginning of the Nativity Fast, as based on the Julian calendar.
The Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church underlined that as a Church shepherd, he prays for the prosperity and peace of the people, calling on all believers to follow the path of prayer and fasting.
