The Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, gave a wide-ranging interview to a Croatian mass media outlet this week.
Among others, His Holiness referred to his election to the throne of St. Savva, his ministry as the Orthodox Metropolitan of Zagreb and Ljubljana and the bonds he developed with the Croatian people. Moreover, he made particular reference to the Church of Serbia’s position regarding the strife-plagued province of Kosovo and the stature of the Orthodox Church in the small Adriatic country of Montenegro.
