The Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude Theophilos III, also issued His message for Christmas of 2021, saying this event, this mystery, is celebrated today in a solemn way, in praise and thanksgiving throughout the world by the Orthodox Church of Christ, especially by the Church of Jerusalem and the city of Bethlehem.
Theophilos added that the Church in Jerusalem prays for the peace and good condition of the entire world, especially for the Middle East, and for the liberation of tested humanity from the various mutations of the infectious disease.
