Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III in Greece for official visit

The Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos, on Monday received the visiting Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude Theophilos III, who arrived for an official visit to Greece over the weekend.
The two hierarchs discussed various issues, including the course of the ongoing pandemic, as well as the situation in the Holy Land and the all-sacred pilgrimages found there, in the wake of a recent decision by the Israeli government to close the country’s borders due to the outbreak of the Omicron variant of the Covid-19 virus.
