The Holy Council of the Patriarchate of Antioch convened last week in Balamand, Lebanon, under the chairmanship of the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, His Beatitude John X.
Speaking at the conclusion of the Holy Council, His Beatitude noted that “…Lebanon for us is one unified ship that remains only through concerted efforts of all its passengers… As passengers of one boat, our destiny is one. On this occasion, we raise our voice in order to preserve Lebanon as a country of citizenship and coexistence.”
