The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, on Monday afternoon was due to receive the visiting Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at the Patriarchal Hall in the ancient port city.
Mitsotakis is on a two-day official visit to the country, where will have meetings with Egyptian leadership.
Still in Egypt, the Patriarch of Alexandria celebrated the Pentecost on Sunday at the Cathedral of St. Nicholas in the Hamzawi district of Cairo, where among others, he conveyed his best wishes and prayers to those brothers afflicted with illness, especially the Covid-19 virus.
