The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, over the weekend expressed his gratitude to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and to the entire Greek nation for the support extended towards the Patriarchate of Alexandria.
The Patriarch of Alexandria spoke on the occasion of the presence of the Secretary-General of Hellenes Abroad and Public Diplomacy, Ioannis Chrysoulakis, who attended services on the eve of the feast day of the celebrating Cathedral of Archangels in Ibrahimia.
Referring to the welcoming land of Egypt, Patriarch Theodoros underlined: “I want you to be assured that we live here in the peaceful country of Egypt, where they love us and we love them. They support us and we will support them because we are traveling together in the peaceful world of the Mediterranean.”
