Patriarch of Alexandria receives Denmark’s envoy to Egypt

The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria & All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, this week received the ambassador of Denmark to Egypt, Svend Olling, at the headquarters of the Patriarchate of Alexandria.
The Primate of the Alexandria Patriarchate, after welcoming the top diplomat and his wife, briefed him on the presence and activities of the Orthodox Church on the African continent, especially the missionary and social work carried out through the Dioceses of the Patriarchate.

Patriarch Theodoros stressed that the Patriarchate of Alexandria is a religious and cultural center of Egypt and the eastern Mediterranean, and will always contribute to the peaceful and harmonious coexistence of peoples.
