The Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria and All Africa, His Most Divine Beatitude Theodoros II, was received on Tuesday at the State House by the Governor of Alexandria, Mohamed Al Serif.
In a very cordial atmosphere, the Governor of Alexandria expressed his respect and appreciation to the Patriarch of Alexandria, referring to the long-term ministry of the Patriarch in the City of Alexandria and his tenure on the throne of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate.
Al Serif also awarded Patriarch Theodoros II the golden key of the ancient city, as an expression and sign of infinite respect, love, and recognition of his tireless missionary work.
