Due to existing pandemic-related restrictions, the evening service for Great and Holy Friday will commenced at 6 in the afternoon, as the Epitaphios was carried only around the courtyard of cathedrals and chapels.
Social distancing protocols were in effect, as was the mandatory wearing of face masks.
