Palm Sunday celebrated by Orthodox faithful around the world
His All Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew I officiated at the Divine Liturgy, conducted at the Patriarchal Cathedral of St. George, and co-officiated by several Metropolitans of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.
Elsewhere, the Archbishop of Tirana and All Albania, His Beatitude Anastasios, called on the faithful to experience Great and Holy Easter Week with tranquility and deep spiritual joy, in a sermon after the Divine Liturgy at the cathedral of the Resurrection in Tirana.
His Beatitude also cited what he called the suspicion and stringency that is rife in society today due to the extraordinary conditions that exist.
