Orthodox believers in the strife-plagued and secessionist Kosovo province are preparing to celebrate Christmas, based on the Julian calendar, amid threats and the specter of attacks by majority Kosovo Albanian elements there.
Yet another act of desecration of a religious site was reported at the end of 2021, as unknown suspects vandalized a Serbian Orthodox cemetery near Gracanica.
