Ordination to deacon in the Holy Land

In the Holy Land and specifically at the Horrendous Golgotha, the Metropolitan of Kapitolias, His Eminence Isychios, on Saturday morning officiated at the ordination to deacon of Elias Spyridon, the son of the blessed Presbyter Spyridon from Abelin, a town in northern Israel.

According to the decision of the Holy and Sacred Synod of the Patriarchate of Jerusalem, the newly ordained Deacon will be ordained a Priest after the appointed time for his preparation.
