New academic year for Patriarchate of Jerusalem

The new academic year began on Tuesday in the Holy Land, with the Patriarchal Seminary on the Hill of Holy Zion opening its doors to theology students.
A service for the Sanctification of the waters was held at the Church of the Holy Trinity, and was officiated by the Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude Theophilos III. The service was attended by the chairman of the school board, Archbishop Isidoros of Hierapolis, along with many of the Patriarchate’s hierarchs, elders, educators as well as diplomats.
