The Church today celebrates the Monday of the Holy Spirit, coming a day after Holy Pentecost – the seventh Sunday of Pascha, Holy & Great Easter, the 10th day after the Ascension and the 50th day after Pascha.
The feast marks the coming of the All-holy Spirit into the world, the completion of Christ the Lord’s promise, and the fulfillment of the hope of the sacred disciples.
