The Russian Orthodox Church’s Metropolitan of Volokolamsk, His Eminence Hilarion, this week met separately with the German and Belgian ambassadors accredited to the vast country, with talks focusing on the recent devastating floods in the two countries.
His Eminence also conveyed the condolences of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Kirill, towards German Chancellor Angela Merkel for those who died during the floods in the country.
