Metropolitan of Nea Ionia presents a text at Church of Greece Holy Synod session on topic of ‘Scientific & Theological Approaches to Pandemic Virus: Responses to Conspiracy Theories’

Sessions of the Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece continued for a third straight day on Wednesday, with hierarchs of the Church meeting at the Inter-Orthodox Center at the Holy Monastery of Penteli, due north of Athens.
The sessions of the Holy Synod will continue until Friday, chaired by the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, His Beatitude Ieronymos.

One of the today’s speakers, the Metropolitan of Nea Ionia, His Eminence Gabriel, presented a text on the topic of “Scientific and Theological Approach to the Pandemic Virus: Responses to Conspiracy Theories”.

A discussion between members of the Holy Synod followed.
