Metropolitan of Kitrous Georgios attends ordination service for new Bishop of Patriarchate of Antioch & All the East

The Metropolitan of Kitrous, His Eminence Georgios, spoke to the Orthodoxia news agency this week over his recent visit to the Middle East country of Syria, for the ordination of a new Auxiliary Bishop of the Patriarchate of Antioch, His Grace Mousa of Larissa, modern-day Shaizar in Arabic. The ordination service took place at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Dormition of the Theotokos in the Damascus.
His Eminence also referred to the publication of a new book by the Metropolis of Kitrous and the Pieria prefecture of northern Greece, on the subject of the Greek War of Independence.
