Metropolis of Arta commemorates 24th anniversary of recovery of Holy Relics of St. Maximus the Greek

The Metropolis of Arta, in northwest Greece, this week commemorated the 24th anniversary of the recovery in Russia of the Holy Relics of St. Maximus the Greek.

A con-celebratory vesper was held on Monday at a cathedral dedicated to the 16th century saint in the city of Arta, officiated by the Metropolitan of Sisanion and Siatista, His Eminence Athanasios, and co-officiated by the Metropolitan of Arta, His Eminence Kallinikos.
