The official premiere in Russia of the film “Man of God” was held at a downtown Moscow movie theater this week.
The Greek coach of the basketball team CSKA Moscow, Dimitris Itoudis, was on hand for the screening of the international production, based on the life, works and testament of St. Nektarios of Aegina.
The film by director Yelena Popovic will debut in movie theaters in 27 cities across Russia on Wednesday.
“Man of God” has posted box office records in Greece and Cyprus since premiering on Aug. 26, while picking up several awards, including the public’s choice at the 43rd Moscow Film Festival.
