On the occasion of last year’s centennial of the repose in the Lord of St. Nektarios of Aegina, the award-winning movie “Man of God”, based on the life and works of St. Nektarios, will debut in Greek cinemas on Aug. 26.
The Hollywood production, directed by Yelena Popovic, was shot in the greater Athens area and on the island of Aegina, where St. Nektarios founded a renowned monastery, a place that attracts thousands of pilgrims from around the world on an annual basis.
