An informal conference regarding the long-standing Cyprus problem is being held on Wednesday in Geneva under the auspices of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, with the participation of the leaders of the two communities on the island and representatives of the three guarantor powers. Cyprus President Nicos Christodoulides will represent the Greek-Cypriot side.
The participants arrived at the Palace of Nations in the morning, while a plenary session will follow and then the UN Secretary-General will have one-on-one meetings with each of the parties.
