The Jerusalem Patriarchate celebrated the feast of the Holy Pentecost with a Vespers service on Saturday afternoon at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, and with a Divine Liturgy on Sunday morning at the Holy Tomb, officiated by the Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude Theophilos III.
The Feast of the Holy Pentecost was also commemorated with millennia-old ecclesiastical rite by the celebrating Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in the port city of Piraeus, with the Metropolitan of Piraeus, His Eminence Seraphim officiating.
In northern Greece, the Monday of the Holy Spirit was commemorated in splendorous tradition at the Cathedral of St. Athanasius, at the Sykia township on the peninsula of Sithonia, which faces Mount Athos, and officiated by the Metropolitan of Kassandria, His Eminence Nikodimos.
