This morning His Beatitude Pope and Patriarch of Alexandria has started his pastoral visits in Uganda. He started from St. Nicholas Cathedral where he was warmly welcomed by Archbishop Makarios, Bishop Silvester and all the faithful. His Beatitude extended condolence to the Church in Uganda for the loss of Metropolitan Jonah whom he referred to having been a strong pillar in the Alexandrian throne. Amidst the heavy rain His Beatitude laid wreath on his grave.
