Hierarchs of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople will convene in the Bosporus metropolis on Wednesday through Friday, under the chairmanship of the Ecumenical Patriarch, His All-Holiness Bartholomew I.
Among the scheduled sessions, noted Greek epidemiologist Prof. Sotiris Tsiodras will participate in a panel discussion on the topic of “Pandemic and Church Life”.
Other sessions include topics such as “Declaring the Gospel in the 21st Century” and “The Church in the Modern Age”.
The Abbot of the Holy Monastery of Simonos Petra, Elder Archimandrite Elisseos, will speak on the topic of “The Ethos of Orthodox Monasticism.”
