Greek president Katerina Sakellaropoulou continued a tour of the Serres prefecture on Tuesday, where she was received at the Cathedral of St. George, in the town of Vamvakofyta, by the Metropolitan of Sidirokastro, His Eminence Makarios.
Still in the region, the feast day of the Synaxis of the Apostles was celebrated at the newly dedicated parish of St. Haralambos, in the Polygoros township of Halkidiki prefecture.
