Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Monday visited the Black Sea port city of Odessa, which for centuries hosted a historic and vibrant ethnic Greek community.
The Greek minister was in the Ukraine to attend the opening of an international forum in Kiev, followed by a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Ku-LE-ba.
Dendias visited the Museum of the Filiki Etairia, or the Society of Friends, a place of historic significance for the Greek revolution of 1821, followed by a visit to the Greek Park, a public cultural space that promotes Hellenic culture and commemorates the presence of the ethnic Greek community in the port city.
