Greek FM Dendias: We stand with the Serbian people, an integral part of European family

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias on Tuesday referred to the strong historical and religious ties between the Greek and Serbian people, during his meeting in Athens with his visiting Serbian counterpart Nikola Selakovic.
In a statement, Dendias noted that “…this year we are celebrating the 200 years of the modern Greek state – of our independence; and with Serbia we have always been on the right side of history. We stand, therefore, today on the side of the Serbian people, Serbian society, in order for you to become an integral part of the European family, because this is where we believe you belong.”
