Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Katsaniotis, who holds the expatriate Greeks and religious diplomacy portfolio, spoke to the country’s national news agency on Monday, where he cited the significance of religious diplomacy within the framework of the country’s overall foreign policy.
Additionally, he again cited the very strong ties that bind the modern Greek state with the Ecumenical Patriarchate and the Orthodox Patriarchates of Alexandria, Antioch and Jerusalem.
