First Holy Synod session of 165th synodical period of Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece

The first session of the Holy Synod of the Autocephalous Orthodox Church of Greece since the beginning of the new ecclesiastical year on Sept. 1, and with its new composition of hierarchs, took place today in Athens.
The session marks the commencement of the Church of Greece’s 165th synodical period.
