Fire causes significant damages to Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Theotokos in Sydney

The Archdiocese of Australia said a fire broke out within the Holy Cathedral of the Annunciation of the Theotokos in Sydney. The Archdiocese referred to significant damage to the interior of the historic and heritage-listed church and in particular to parts of the roof over the holy altar and the chapel of St John the Theologian.
