A federation representing ethnic Pontian groups around the world called US President Joe Biden’s recognition of the Armenian genocide as historic.
The federation also noted, in an announcement, that the path is now open for recognition of the genocide of other Christian populations of Asia Minor by the Ottoman forces and irregulars prior to and during World War I.
