The Feast Day of the Nativity of Theotokos – based on the Julian calendar – was celebrated at the Holy Shrine of Gethsemane, in the Holy Land.
The Divine Liturgy was officiated by Archbishop of Constantina, His Eminence Aristarchos.
The same feast day, based on the Julian calendar, was celebrated by the Patriarchate of Moscow, with the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, His Holiness Kirill, officiating at a con-celebratory Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in the Russian capital.
