The feast day of St. Panteleimon was celebrated with an archieratical Vespers on Monday afternoon at the cathedral dedicated to the saint in the Makedonitissa district of Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. The service was officiated by the Archbishop of Cyprus, His Beatitude Chrysostomos, who was accompanied by hierarchs and clerics of the Holy Archdiocese.
In the northern Greece city of Veria, an archieratical Vespers was celebrated at the under-construction cathedral of St. Luke the Physician, within the Holy Monastery of the Panaghia Dovra, on the eve of the feast day of Panteleimon, the Great Martyr & Healer. The service was officiated by the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America’s Metropolitan of Atlanta, His Eminence Alexios.
