Faithful in Karditsa commemorate 1923 miracle ending devastating drought

The faithful in the central Greece city of Karditsa over the weekend commemorated the 1923 miraculous ending of a devastating drought in the area, after prayers to hieromartyr Seraphim, Bishop of Fanourion and Neochorion in the early 17th century.
The new Martyr Seraphim was horrendously tortured and executed by the occupying Turks after remaining steadfast in his faith.
