Enthronement of new Bishop of Budimlja–Nikšić
The enthronement of Bishop of Budimlja–Nikšić, His Grace Metodije , was performed on Sunday at the historic Tracts of St. George Monastery, in the Raska region, and in the presence of the Patriarch of Serbia, His Holiness Porfirije, and the Metropolitan-Bishop of Montenegro, His Eminence Joanikije.
In a brief address after the ceremony, the Patriarch of Serbia said he will not allow anyone to block the enthronements of Orthodox bishops in Montenegro, stressing that the Serbian Patriarchate will continue the Church’s ministry.
