The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholomew I, on Wednesday officiated at the Divine Liturgy in memory of St. Kyriaki the Great Martyr, at the namesake Cathedral in the community of Kontoskali, in the Bosporus metropolis.
In His address after the service, the Ecumenical Patriarch pointed out that “…The life of all of us Christians is and should be, a testimony of our faith in Christ — of our faith in the glory that our fathers bequeathed to us… but also of constant care for the salvation and growth of this patriarchal legacy, so that every day we prove worthy descendants of glorious ancestors.”
