Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew officiates at service of the Great Paraklesis

The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, Bartholomew I, on Tuesday evening officiated at the service of the Great Paraklesis to the Virgin Mary, at the historic Agiasma of the Panaghia Vefa, off the Golden Horn in the Bosporus Metropolis.

The Church of Crete’s Metropolitan of Arkalochori, His Eminence Andreas, was in Constantinople and attended the service, where he was introduced to the faithful by His All Holiness, and addressed the congregation.
