The Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All-Holiness Bartholomew I, expressed his support and solidarity to the Patriarchate of Antioch amid the difficult times endured by the people of Lebanon and Syria.
His All-Holiness spoke by phone with the Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, His Beatitude John X, as latter sought to learn first-hand about the Ecumenical Patriarch’s health. The latter underwent a successful stent placement in Manhattan earlier this month.

His Beatitude expressed his best wishes to the Ecumenical Patriarch, asking God to grant him good health and strength, while he also congratulated the Primate of the Mother Church on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Bartholomew’s enthronement.

In reply, His All Holiness expressed the Ecumenical Patriarchate’s wholehearted support for the Patriarchate of Antioch and All the East.
