Divine Liturgy before the catafalque of Bishop Atanasije

On March 6, 2021, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in front of the Trebinje Cathedral church from 10 am, after the served Matin and the funeral service of retired Bishop Atanasije of blessed repose.

The gathering was officiated by His Eminence Metropolitan Hrizostom of Dabar-Bosnia, with the concelebration of several bishops who also served during the Matin with the funeral service, and who were joined at the Holy Liturgy by Their Graces Bishops Jovan of Slavonia and Atanasije of Milesevo.

Numerous clergy, monks and faithful people took part in the gathering, including representatives of states, cities and municipalities. After the reading of the Gospel pericope, Bishop Maxim of Western America held a sermon.
