The Patriarch of All Romania, His Beatitude Daniel, over the weekend received a congratulatory message on the occasion of his 70th birthday, from the Patriarch of Jerusalem, His Most Godly Beatitude Theophilos III.
The Patriarch of Jerusalem extolled the character and virtues of the head of the Romanian Orthodox Church, while stressing his significant pastoral ministry and his tireless work in testimony for Christ and the Orthodox faith. The Patriarch of Jerusalem also made particular reference to the National Cathedral being built in Bucharest, a symbol of the Romanian people’s unity.
