Commemoration of Translation of Holy Relics of St. Gerasimos

Numerous faithful this week continued to arrive at the Holy Monastery of St. Gerasimos on the Ionian Island of Cephalonia for the commemorative and worshipful events on the occasion of one of the two annual feast days for the revered saint.

A con-celebratory Archieratical Divine Liturgy was celebrated on Wednesday at the dedicated cathedral in the town of Omala, on the occasion of the Translation of the Holy Relics of the patron saint of the island.
